The spa interior is beautifully lit, textural and dynamic, here we’ve produced conceptual visuals for our concept lighting designs. Highlighting certain concealed and expressed details but also taking note of how reflection can emphasise the depth and design of a scheme. A high calibre, supreme residential project set in one of the most sought after locations completing in 2026.

St James Private Residence

A gentlemen's apartment close to St James’s Square. The entrance hallway is split into 3 zones, roughly 20SqM in total, it’s modest in size the existing scheme was dark and dismal. The new interior surfaces and finishes are darker than the original, no natural daylight ingress, yet through our design processes the lighting design accentuated certain features which achieve both drama and a desirable level of light - the client loves it.

This is one of the most inspiring independent designer flagship boutiques featuring vintage-inspired women's styles with a retro vibe, we were ecstatic when asked to be involved. This is a tactile vision fully implemented for a new high-street retail destination that transcends simply selling product to a client. Concealed lighting details, detailed correctly creates a theatrical atmosphere; the 4.5m high dressing room with a skylight projecting vast amounts of natural daylight. At night this ingress turns into stunning colour saturated theatrical lighting experience.

Why Hawksbee?

Francis Hawksbee also known as Francis Hauksbee the Elder. Hawksbee was the first to investigate the luminosity of mercury which was known to emit a glow under barometric vacuum conditions.

 Hawksbee discovered that if he placed a small amount of mercury in the glass of his modified version of Otto von Guericke's generator, evacuated the air from it to create a mild vacuum and rubbed the ball in order to build up a charge, a glow was visible if he placed his hand on the outside of the ball. This remarkable discovery was unprecedented in the seventeenth century. This glow was bright enough to read by. This effectively became the basis of the gas-discharge lamp, which led to neon lighting and mercury vapor lamps.
